Who runs this site
Nogal Retreat is a licensed short-term rental near Rethymno, Crete (GNTO licence 00003883209). The website is operated by the property’s local host. For any privacy question, email info@nogal-villa.comor message the host through the property’s Booking.com page.
What this site measures
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand which pages are visited and how quickly they load. Both are cookieless: they do not set cookies, do not store personal information, and do not track you across other websites. The data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you. Because no cookies are involved, we do not show a consent banner for analytics — this notice is the transparency layer.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own. The only third party that can set a cookie is the Google Maps location map on the Area page — and that map loads only after you click “Load interactive map”. If you never load it, no Google cookies are set. When you do load it, Google may set cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
Booking and payments
We do not take bookings or payments on this website. When you choose to book, you are taken to Booking.com, which collects and processes your details under its own privacy policy. Any details you share with the host through Booking.com messaging are used only to arrange and run your stay.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and you can object to or restrict its processing. Because this website itself does not collect personal data, most such requests relate to your booking and should be directed to Booking.com or to the host at info@nogal-villa.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
